After a horrible week and an even horribler (is that a word??) weekend in the eating department. I have finished reading this book...
This book made so much sense to me. After reading it, I really feel like I have a better understanding of how to use food to help with weight loss and not just by limiting or counting calories. On Friday I said I was going to start this program today, but after reading it, I realized that I need more time to prepare. And Mike said he was going to be "all in" with me, so we need to wait until we can be on it 100% and this is a tough time for that with all of our holiday socializing.
I am going to look at the calendar and find our start date. I don't want to go crazy and gain 10 more pounds before I start, I am still going to watch what I eat, but I also don't want to start a new plan and be discouraged or disappointed in the results because I can't follow it the way I should. One thing I love about this plan is it does include a cheat day or meals each week, but it has to be on the same day each week, preferably Sundays.
As soon as I pick a date, you will all know about it and I hope some of you will follow along with me! I am going to be documenting exactly how this works for me and I am so excited to start! Now, I have to eat the stuff around the house that won't be on the diet, because he recommends getting rid of everything you can't eat! No temptations! So without any more talk, here is the plan for the week!
Week of December 8thBreakfastOvernight oats or Eggs and turkey bacon.LunchTurkey sandwich, salad or dinner leftovers.Dinner Plans for:Monday - Hot dogs for Mike and the kids I am going to another Paint Nite and having dinner with a friend before!Tuesday - Café Rio Chicken (freezer meal) with pasta and veggies.Wednesday - Breakfast for dinner. Eggs or pancakes served with fruit.Thursday - Lasagna served with salad.Friday - Pizza and Movie night.Saturday - Christmas party!Sunday - Steak, fries and veggies.
