WIAW - Tuesday

Wednesday, December 3, 2014

I was planning to document my day on Monday, but I got to the end of the day and realized I didn't take one picture. Which was probably better, because it wasn't the best eating day I ever had. Tuesday was better, but ended with cookies, not just any cookies, but Girl Scout cookies!! We got a taste test at our leader meeting. I just love me a girl scout cookie, I could not say no :)

A whole wheat English muffin with peanut butter. I forgot to take a picture, but luckily I have before, so this is an old picture, but it looked exactly the same yesterday!

On the go, that's all I can say about this lunch. You can tell by my pictures because I didn't even eat off a plate. I had a few slices of pepper jack cheese and three slices of sandwich pepperoni on one slice of oatmeal bread. Put together in 10 seconds and eaten on my way out the door.

Monday night I planned to make chicken tenders, but it didn't happen so we had sandwiches for dinner. So last night I made the tenders and we had them with cut up veggies and a salad.

These aren't looking too good. In the morning I was filling these Christmas countdowns with tootsie rolls and I may or may not have had a "few" while I was working?
Then of course the cookies. I had one Lemonade, one Caramel Delite and tested the Gluten Free Trio cookie, which was actually really good!
Tomorrow I need to have fruit for snacks. Does anyone else find it hard to snack on fruit?? I feel like when I snack I want cheese or carbs. I just need to make myself eat the fruit. Suggestions to get into the fruit habit??
Now I am off to enjoy a breakfast with the kiddos. Snow day here in Portland, or I should call it an ice day because we really didn't get snow. If you missed it yesterday, you should definitely check out my Christmas décor here. Tomorrow, come back for Litcher moments, we have had some fun times the past 2 weeks, and Friday, How the Jeans Fit Friday!
Linking up with Jenn from Peas and Crayons and I can't wait to see what everyone else is eating these days!
Happy Wednesday!

  1. Here's a suggestion, make a cheese & apple "sandwich". That way you can get both fruit & your beloved cheese all in one snack :)

    1. Oh great idea! I will be trying that for sure! Thank you Jessie!

  2. Slice an apple and dunk in natural peanut butter-so good! I like the apple and cheese idea, too!

    1. You know what, I love that snack, but always forget! Thanks for the reminder :)

  3. I cant wait for girl scout cookies! For me i try to incorporate fruits and veggies into the meals i already eat. Sometimes if i need more i'll try to snack on it, something like celery or an apples with PB is always good.

I would love to hear your comments and suggestions...
