I know I usually meal plan on Monday, but I really wanted to do the Favorites under $10 for Monday and quite honestly, I didn't have time to meal plan until right now (Monday night)! This is another great reason for freezer meals. I just popped one of those in the crock pot this afternoon, added a steam bag of brown rice and a steam bag of broccoli and a delicious home cooked dinner was served without much thought and, in no time at all! Check out the freezer meal post here. The meal we ate was the Teriyaki Chicken and it was the best one I have had so far! Delicious! Ok, now for the rest of the week...
Week of September 29thBreakfastEnglish muffin with Pumpkin butter or cold cereal.LunchTurkey or Tuna sandwich, Tomato soup or dinner leftovers.Dinner Plans for:Monday - Teriyaki Chicken (freezer meal) served with brown rice and broccoli.Tuesday - Taco Tuesday! Plain tacos for the kids and baked chicken tacos for the adults. Served with a Fresh Express southwestern chopped salad.Wednesday - Breakfast for dinner or Grilled cheese and tomato soup, If I haven't eaten the soup for lunch!Thursday - Steak on the Grill - I might put mine on a salad served with lots of veggies!Friday - Going to Mike's parents for Pizza!Saturday - I am going to be gone for a very special friends bachelorette party. I will leave hot dogs or something for Mike and the kids.Sunday - Homemade Chicken tenders (freezer meal) served with cut up veggies and salad.
