April Goals

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

It's that time again! Time to review last months and set this months goals! I can't even believe that we are through another month. The end of the school year is getting so close, consistent nice weather is (hopefully) on its way and we have a little time to breath this month before things getting nutty again in May! Hopefully I will be able to tackle all of my goals this month!

So how did I do in March?
  1.  Letters and Pictures to family ü
  2.  Get in 5 - 25 minute workouts - changing and moving this to April
  3.  Organize digital photos - still didn't happen, moving again...
  4.  Drink more waterü
  5.  Organize blog tasks for better efficiency ü
  6.  Learn to love myself ü still working on it though!

March was so busy with Girl Scouts, Odyssey of the Mind, Dance, Talent Show and just regular life that I didn't have high hopes for accomplishing my whole list, but really hope to in April. Let's check it out!

  1. Continue with Weight Watchers - I am still loving it and I would like to get through the month of April still on track!
  2. Get out and walk 3 days/week - The weather will start to get warmer this month and the snow should hopefully disappear completely, so I would like to get in the habit of walking 3 times per week. Even if it is just a slow and steady family walk after dinner. Getting my legs moving a few times each week is important this month!
  3. Organize digital photos - I have moved this already for 2 months, so hopefully this time it gets done!
  4. Spring Clean at least 2 Rooms - As soon as I can open the windows, I will start spring cleaning the house. Everything needs to be scrubbed, dusted and washed to get out all the winter blahs!
  5. Continue working on self love - started that this month and hope to continue. This is super important in my journey!
  6. Go to church at least 1 time - I am craving a relationship with god and a church community. I talked about this way at the beginning of my blog and I have let other things come before it, but now it is time. Not just for me, but for my family as well.
  7. Read 2 books - being so busy in March, I didn't read even, one book. I hope to read at least 2 this month including this book which should help with #5!

Has anyone read it? What did you think??

That's it for today! If you missed it yesterday, check out how I make egg salad. This recipe will come in handy this weekend for all those hard boiled colored eggs!

Happy "April Fool's" Day!

Monthly Goals

  1. Good luck on your April goals! This is a great idea! We're also hoping to get out and walk more consistently...once the weather FINALLY breaks!
    New follwer. :)

    1. So glad you stopped by!! Hoping your weather gets better, we are crossing our fingers for a better week next week around here!

  2. Best of luck with this month's goals!!

  3. Good luck with your April goals! I only have one this month which is to have the baby!! X

    1. Yay! That's a great goal Laura :) Good luck!!

  4. Organizing digital photos is SUCH a pain! It took me months to get mine in order. At the time I had about 25,000 and now I don't even want to think about how many I have. I finally worked out a good system but it was tough getting there, so I totally feel ya on that one...

    1. Miranda, have you blogged about your system? I would love to hear about it...hint, hint :)

  5. Great list! Finding a church home is such a big part of having a healthy spiritual self. I fought it for years but have been so renewed by having that relationship. I will say letting go and trusting God to help me through my battles with food has also been a big deal for me.

    1. I know in my heart that it is going to be huge in my journey and in many of my struggles. Thanks so much for stopping by and for your comment!

  6. Great goals for April!
I'm a lifetime member of Weight Watchers, and love it, too! I'm not always on plan, and this winter has been WAY OFF plan, but I have high hopes for spring and summer!
    Good luck and best wishes!

I would love to hear your comments and suggestions...
