It's Friday, it's Easter weekend and 18 years ago tomorrow, Mike and I went out on our first date! It's going to be a great weekend! Coloring and hiding eggs and lots of family time. Love these weekends! Now onto what else I am loving this week!
#1 Friday Night Lights
I know I am totally late to the party on this show, but boy am I glad I found it. I felt like I had heard that it was good when I saw it pop up on Netflix and I was needing a show to watch since finishing Downton Abbey, so over the weekend, I started Friday Night Lights and I am obsessed! The story line sometimes seems a little funny to me, since they are only high school kids, and I feel like they seem more like college kids, but maybe it has been that long since I have been in high school?? I love coach Taylor and there is definitely some eye candy, aka Tim Riggins, in show :) If you haven't watched, you should!
I spotted these at the grocery store this week and I may have bought 4 different kinds! Barbecue, Sour Cream and Onion, Cheddar and Kettle Corn Popcorn chips. I don't know about all of you, but I love to have something crunchy after lunch. Sometimes, carrot sticks or peppers will fill that void and sometimes they don't cut it! Then I saw these. I calculated the points right in the store and found that I could have 25-27 for only 3 points. My ham wrap is only 4 points, fruit or veggies (0 points) and a side of chips for 3, makes lunch a total of 7 points. Not bad at all! And they are delicious!
#3 Family and Friends Observation Week
Olivia takes 2 dance classes, Acro and Ballet and this week was observation week. Normally, we can watch on a small TV in the waiting room, but unless you are sitting right next to it, you can't see a whole lot, so I usually take the time to either chat with a friend of work on this blog. But twice a year you get to go in the class and watch. I was watching Acro on Wednesday and oh my goodness, I was in pain just watching some of their moves! WOW! I love being able to get a sneak peak of the recital dance before the end of the year and I love to see the improvement from the beginning of the year to the end and most of all, I just enjoy watching her come alive when she dances!

Well that about covers my favorites for this week! Tomorrow, I weigh in again. You can check out last week's weigh in here. Last week rocked, this week, not so sure. I made a dessert during a sweet craving that I was having this week. I didn't figure out the points until I was in bed and found that the whole dish was 157 points. One HUNDRED Fifty Seven Points. OMG. I almost fell out of bed, because, I am not going to lie, I ate a significant amount of it. I just didn't think it would be so many points and I guess at that moment, I didn't care. Ladies, do you get where I am coming from? Anyway, I clearly went well over my extra points this week, so I don't know how that is going to look on the scale, but I am hoping for the best!
I hope that everyone has a fabulous weekend and amazing Easter.
See you back here on Monday!
