I am beyond excited! Here is how this week went...
This weekend, I went away with one of my girlfriends to do some scrapbooking. There was also some snacking, eating and a few Margaritas involved!
This week is school vacation week and I am going away for a few days with the kids and again there will be lots of eating and drinking happening, but there will also be swimming, so I will get some exercise!
My goal this week is to be on target Monday, Thursday and Friday and that I will either maintain or gain less than 2 pounds! I think considering my plans, this is a healthy goal!
After weighing in on Friday, I had a moment of feeling upset that after doing so well, I was going to have a tough week and likely will gain, but then I thought, this is life. Real life. Even when I get to my goal weight there are going to be challenging times where I may gain a few pounds. The important part is not, how I handle this week, but how I handle next week. I am not going to beat myself up about living life this week, I am just going to get back on track next week. Just like week 4 and 5. Week 4 I gained because of my need for sweets, but week 5 I rocked it out of the park and lost all I had gained plus some!
So on the days that I am home this week I will track and I will own up to whatever the scale says on Saturday, but then I will forget about that and focus my efforts on a new week!
Now for the fitness challenge that I am doing with Bohemian Housewife, how did I do with fitness this past week??
Monday: Piyo, T25 or a walk - walked 50 minutes with a friend!
Tuesday: After dinner Family Walk - 30 minute walk while the kids rode bikes
Wednesday: Piyo, T25 or a walk - I was under the weather and did nothing
Thursday: After dinner Family Walk - 30 minute walk while the kids rode bikes
Saturday: Elliptical or Treadmill - Shopping and laughing, does that count?
Sunday: Elliptical or Treadmill - Played football and other outside activities with the kids
I did 4 out of 6 days which is a heck of a lot better than the 0 days that I was getting the weeks before! This week, I hope to get in all 6 days!
Now this week's plan...
Monday: Family walk after dinner
Tuesday: Swimming or fitness center
Wednesday: Swimming or fitness center
Thursday: Swimming and family walk after dinner
Friday: Piyo, T25 or walk
Saturday: Piyo, T25 or walk
Sunday: Piyo, T25 or walk *optional if needed

I am not meal planning this week as we will be away, but I will be back with a plan next week!
