WIAW - WW 28 Point Day

I haven't done a What I Ate Wednesday post in a while, but I decided that now that I am in a Weight Watchers groove, it is time to show you what one of my typical days look like!

28 Points Plus


Breakfast (5PP)


My breakfast is a mix of things to make a really yummy breakfast! Sometimes I add some fruit on the side. On this day, I was in a rush and I only had time for the cereal!
 **Tomorrow I will post my "secret" recipe for this yummy breakfast! 

Snack (1PP)

On this day I felt hungry around 11AM, so I had a string cheese and a banana. 

Lunch (8PP)

I love my ham wraps! Garden veggie wrap, Wildflower Honey Ham, a tiny bit of lite mayo, tomatoes and lettuce. Today I had a side of carrot sticks/ranch and Special K cracker chips. This is such a good lunch. I get a healthy sandwich with some veggies in it and on the side, plus I get a little treat with the chips, but without the guilt! I feel that 8 - 9 points is the perfect amount of points for me at lunch time. Anything more and I feel a little restricted if I get hungry in the afternoon! 

Snack (1PP)

In the afternoon, I threw together a quick smoothie of just frozen fruit and almond milk. It was actually pretty good and filled me up until dinner. But I forgot to take a picture. 

Dinner (9PP)

I made breaded pork chops for dinner. I usually put this breading on chicken to make chicken nuggets, but decided to give it a try on pork and it was just as good! Bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper. We had applesauce, broccoli and a salad on the side! I don't know what it is about pork chops and applesauce, but I just love it! 

Snack (3PP)

After dinner, I still had 3 points leftover. So I decided to have 12 Sour Patch Kids! I love me some candy and my mom got me Sour Patch Kids for Easter and it was kind of genius, because that is the one candy you really can't eat too much of!

I also ate two bites of the kids Macaroni and Cheese at lunch and put myself down for 2PP, for a total of 28 points! It was a great day. I had some solid healthy meals and snacks, with a little treat mixed in at the end of the day. To me, this is the perfect day!

  1. I love this. I lost about 55 pounds on WW point system once. I should really do it again because I really have not lost much baby weight!

    1. Congrats on the 55 pound loss! That is about what I need to lose and I am really enjoying Weight Watchers so far!

  3. Ah! A fellow WWer! I really keep meaning to do a post like this on what I eat...but then I eat it too fast to take a photo. ;)

    1. Yes, it is definitely hard to remember to take the photos, but now I am at the point that my kids even think we need to take pics of everything we eat :)

  4. Good job! I don't know much about weight watchers but what is an average amount of points per day you are supposed to have?

    1. It depends on your weight, but I don't think it ever goes below 26 points, the higher your weight, the more points you are allowed. When I first started I was at 30 points, but now I am at 28 since I am down 10 pounds!
