WIAW - 28 Point Day

It has been a few weeks since I have done WIAW and I always miss it when I don't do it. I love seeing what everyone else is eating and reviewing one of my days! Hop on over to Peas and Crayons to check out all the amazing bloggers! 

28 Point Day

Breakfast (5PP)

I was doing a little experimenting for a recipe coming up tomorrow that you don't want to miss! I don't want to say too much about it, but on this day it was 5 points and here is a picture.

It was so good and the next day when I made the whole recipe it was amazing! 

Lunch (8PP)

For lunch I had a sandwich thin with a laughing cow light swiss spread on it, topped with ham and lettuce. This has become my favorite lunch. The laughing cow cheese just takes a plain ham and cheese to another level, and for one extra point, totally worth it! I had a side of Special K cracker chips and strawberries!

Dinner (10PP)

We had soup for dinner even though it is June and you wouldn't expect soup in June, but we haven't really had the best weather lately so it worked! This is a super quick dinner that everyone except my daughter, who despises soup, loves. A friend told me about it recently and now I am on my second time making it. I had some leftover chicken in the fridge and a bag of the soup mix, so when I made my meal plan I knew exactly what we would have to use that chicken!

When I made my bowl, I added 2 TBSP of lite sour cream and 1 TBSP of shredded cheddar. Then we had cucumbers and ranch on the side! It was very filling and we have a bunch of leftovers for Mike and Owen to eat for lunch this week! Gotta love that!

Snacks (5PP)

In the afternoon I had one Bamboo Rice roller which are my favorite low points crunchy snack! (1PP)

In the evening I had my drizzled apple and because I had 4 points leftover from the day, I was able to have a whole tablespoon of peanut butter and some melted chocolate chips and it was the perfect ending to my day! (4PP)

That's it! When I weigh in on Saturday, I am hoping to have lost 1 pound and that will put me down into 27 points a day, but for this week, I will enjoy that extra point!
