Happy to be Back!

It has been over a month since I have written a post and can I tell you, I have missed it so much!! It did not start out as an intentional break, but ended up turning into one. I can't possibly fit everything that has happened in the last month into one post, so I will give a quick summary and give some details in other posts!

We took a little family vacation and during that vacation we had a death in the family that was sudden and tragic and consumed me for a while. This is how the blog break happened. I am not ready to talk about it in any detail yet, but I am still working on peace and healing.

I decided that before I started writing again, I would change the blog name and the look of my blog. What do you all think?? I struggled with naming the blog forever. I wanted a name that would encompass everything I write about without being too specific. I wanted the name to be short so it was easy to remember and say. I got lots of great suggestions from friends. Then one day I drove over to my parents and asked for their opinion and my dad said, Seeking Sandy and I knew that was it! I talk all the time about this blog being a documentation of my journey. This journey is all about finding me, my health and my faith all while being a wife and mother. By the end of the night, I bought the domain name and starting working on Seeking Sandy!

So, here we are! I am so excited to be back. I am super excited about the direction I am taking this blog. I have a great schedule of posts that I will follow and I hope you all stick around to follow me on this journey! Here is what you can expect...

Summer is officially over in our house. The kids are back to school, I am sitting here enjoying some tea and getting ready to write a bunch of posts filling you all in on the happenings in the Litcher house last month! Have a great Tuesday everyone!
