Friday Favorites

Friday, April 7, 2017

Happy Friday everyone! I spent half of this week sick and the half trying to catch up from doing nothing for three days. Not fun! But hey at least I got to do some blogging! Linking up with the Friday Favorite ladies, Andrea, Erika and Narci

Chatbooks! Have you guys heard of them? I started at the beginning of the year taking more pictures and adding them to Instagram specifically because I downloaded Chatbooks and you can sign up to get a book every 60 pictures that you upload to social media or just take on your Iphone. Instagram is my favorite social media so I decided to try it out! I got my first book this week and I love it!

Once you are up to 60 pictures you can edit the book, so I took out some pictures that I uploaded that were not family pictures and you can edit the cover and make a name for your book series. Since I am using Instagram, I called my book series, Litchergrams 💗

This book was all the pictures that I had posted on Instagram prior to 2017. My next book should be ready to go by the end of the weekend because I am almost at 60 pics in my first 2017 book! It has really made me take more pictures and I can't wait to see them in the book. If you want to check it out, click here

Since we are talking about books, I figured I would talk about a few that I have read lately that I really liked. First my favorite of the books I have read recently has to be The Magnolia Story

Seriously, I thought I loved Chip and Joanna from the show. Knowing their backstory made me love them even more! Great book!

I read Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng for my book club this month. This was a quick read because the book starts immediately with a death of a character, so I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know how it happened. I love a book that captures me in the first chapter, this one was the first sentence, literally!

Lastly, I read,The Kind Worth Killing: A Novel by Peter Swanson. I got this recommendation from one of my favorite podcasts, Young House Love has a Podcast. They said this book was great. Very similar in style to Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train and I would agree with that. I loved both of those books, so as soon as I heard them compare this book to them, I ordered it up! I was not disappointed. The other part that got me about this book is that parts of the book take place in Maine, so it was cool to read about places that we have been!

Another favorite this week would be the big announcement post! It was so nice to get it out there and get some great feedback! I am so grateful to everyone that reads this blog! You all are my favorites!

Olivia's favorites are her American Girl dolls and baking, so this weekend we are going to an American girl baking class at the mall. I am excited to get some one on one time with my little girl, and I know she is going to love this class! It is my favorite that although she is growing up so fast she  still loves her dolls and hanging out with her mom!

I hope you all have a great weekend!
Till next time ❣
